“My work is derived from a variety of subject matter through the use of mixed media, drawing and printmaking. My use of color and mark making comes from life experiences, symbolism, short stories and mythology.  My favorite subject matter is the human figure. Recalling my favorite quote,  ‘Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.'”~ Edward Degas.
