“My Work is derived from images found in nature, but is juxtaposed to fit into my personal world. (The subject matter is transformed to express happenings in my own life experiences). Color is my passion and I use it expressively as it related to psychological meanings. The materials used to make my art are as important as is the message, idea and forms that it takes. Being an educator; I want the viewer to always be aware of the materials used. My favorite subject is the Human figure and if you look closely at all my work; each motif takes on the form of being human. I strive to keep my work positive and up lifting. I feel keeping yourself surrounded by beauty; we all become beautiful.”
